Our goal was to develop a brand-new, INTERESTING, and colorful strategy for the ISE preschool promotion. The campaign's goal was to persuade parents to sign up their children for preschool at ISE. We produced the IUTE WEEK logo, an e-Shopping Week sign, a campaign concept, and all marketing materials. It was a thrilling ride!

BANG & BONSOMER PARTICIPATING IN FINNBUILD EXPO

This time around, the FINNBUILD expo will be different. We have previously used enormous photo banners in the design of Bang & Bonsomer expos. After consulting with the client, we opted to keep the booth design simple and avoid using any images. To keep things fresh, the client suggested using real-life polyurethane foam spray walls, which is a fantastic concept! The Bang & Bonsomers team will spray the walls to demonstrate how well the Ekospray foam works and how easy it is to apply. The walls' graphic design consists solely of text, minimalist technical illustrations, and icons. It is exciting to create new solutions!

NARVA COLLEGE BA CAMPAIGN

In 2024, Narva College got a record number of applications: 941. In prior years, the maximum number of candidates was around 750. How was this feasible, and what factors led to the positive outcome? We created a completely new concept for the BA campaign, inspired by the creativity and spirit of Narva College, and also took a deep interest in the mindset of the potential applicant, attempting to understand what type of campaign they would react to and, if given the opportunity, what type of campaign they would create for themselves:). The other aspect was extremely sophisticated media planning by Narva College's partner media firm; the campaign was highly prominent despite the fact that the media budget was less than that of the competition. The third aspect is the overall mindset of society, which includes good attitudes toward programs with a concentration on teacher professional studies.

SMART FYSIO LAUNCH CAMPAIGN

Eric Brauer, the inventor of Smart Fysio, believes that you should train SMART rather than hard. Eric is a great inspiration and a pioneer in the world of personal movement and fitness. He does not believe in the cult of pumping muscles and being extra slender; this is not healthy and is not achievable for the majority of us. Instead, he feels that smart and sufficient activity of any kind is essential for keeping our bodies functioning at their optimum. We want to live a full life!

NARVA COLLEGE INVITES APPLICANTS TO JOIN THE MA PROGRAMS

The Narva College MA marketing focuses on showing members of the college faculty - the genuine wonderful people who study and work at the college. We produced a unique graphic design concept to highlight college students by putting a letter Õ around their heads. The upbeat attitude of the college lecturers shone through, and the campaign yielded excellent results in terms of the number of applications received. Applications increased by 22% compared to the previous year.

NOPRI IS THE MOST BELOVED BRAND AMONG FARM PRODUCT PRODUCERS

Together with Socio Research, we conducted comprehensive market research to identify the position of the Nopri brand in the minds of the target audience. The important discovery was that there is no problem with Nopri. On the contrary, what Nopri marketing has done so far has been quite effective. The farm has a consistent following; people who know and buy Nopri are loyal customers who will continue to purchase organic farm milk products in the future. The key difficulty is that if Nopri truly wants to build its customer base and significantly raise sales in the future, the brand must advance to the next level of marketing. This means more heavy advertising across all media platforms.

This year's ESTBUILD expo featured a cool sub-project. We created a marshmallow candy box using Ekospray design and copy. Since Ekospray is a polyurethane foam that resembles marshmallow, we formed a quick link with the package copy language. The candies were given out as gifts to potential clients who attended the fair.

FIRST NÖVA PACKAGES SOLD IN KALAARSENAL SHOP

After establishing NÖVA sales in Kalaarsenal, I inquired with the shop's owner about its success. Are people purchasing the premium black caviar manufactured in Estonia? Tiit responded with a story: yesterday, a couple strolled in. A man in his fifties with his woman. They inquired about the ad on the counter and the NÖVA jars in the refrigerator. When they discovered that this is the highest quality caviar cultivated in the wetlands and woods of Pärnu, they promptly purchased the largest container to sample it. It appears that Estonians have a strong desire to support Estonian entrepreneurs and producers. And they are ready to try new, fancy things:).

CAN YOU SPEAK JAPANEZE?

We created a beautiful brochure for NÖVA in English. After accepting the graphic design, the client requested the identical brochure in Japanese. We figured, certainly. Let's do it. Not an issue. The client provided the translations, and our designer prepared the language for the brochure. None of the Estonian squad members speak any Japanese. Our client mentioned that the spacing of the hieroglyphs must be done in a specific way in the Japaneze language. A millimeter here and there alters the meaning of the word. To remedy this, we hired a Japanese designer to join our team:). Millimeters were fixed, and the brochure was sent to print. A lesson to be learned. Never underestimate foreign languages or specifics.

LINNUKODUD NAME, IDENTITY AND WEBSITE

A new, high-value piece of real estate in town was given the name, identity, and website LINNUKODUD by kiop.agency. Visit https://alpina.estate/linnukodud/ for more information. The name is derived from the fact that this brand-new, lovely home is situated in Kristiine, a lush area of Tallinn that is home to many trees, birds, and other lovely things. Moreover, the street is named LINNU, which is Estonian for "bird." The concept for the logo is likewise pretty straightforward; we turned the bird's shape into the letter O. The website is meant to be composed and cool:). pastel hues, a nordic vibe, and a focus on the family.

A great source of inspiration was the owners of Alpina themselves – Mihkel Pärtel and Pirmin Tamm, true real estate gurus. We wanted to come up with a great user experience and the sense that Alpina is the next big thing in real estate.

ALPINA CVI

What is likely to happen with real estate prices? Will the square-metre price in seaside Kalamaja already exceed 8000 euros by 2024? How can you make money out of your land? Do Estonians still believe that investing in real estate will guarantee future returns? Mihkel Pärtel and Pirmin Tamm will surely be able to answer these and other questions related to real estate. They are true real estate gurus, responsible for the hot new Alpina real estate brand. Kiop.agency was tasked with creating an identity and homepage for the venture. The logo is intentionally modern and minimalistic and flirts with architecture. The logo sign was inspired by the three values of Alpina.

BANG & BONSOMER EXPO

How can you successfully create an expo concept that can be used by six different business divisions to express the needs of around 20 different business lines? How can you create a production solution that is modular and can be implemented in very small and quite large spaces alike without it losing any of its design or function? Which is more important: colours or lighting? How can you make use of ceiling space? And how can you be visible, beautiful and significant all at once?

Kiop.agency developed a new expo solution for Bang & Bonsomer. The design is in line with the new graphic identity we have been implementing on group webpages, prints and other marketing materials. We put a lot of emphasis on lighting the expo booth – all of the modules have LED lighting along the edges, including the ceiling module, floor module and info modules. To make use of the space beneath the ceiling, we created a separate ceiling module and raised it in order for the booth to be visible from all directions. Branded pins were also provided for the client to use, which could be placed anywhere in the expo area to attract more visitors.

BANG & BONSOMER POLYURETHANES BROCHURE

Did you know that polyurethanes were invented by a working group led by German chemist Otto Bayer in 1937? Or that the squidgy sponges we use in our kitchens are made from soft polyurethane foam? Polyurethane is widely used in just about every industry: there is PUR insulation in our fridges and plumbing, PUR foam in our beds, shoes and sofas, and much more besides. But what exactly is polyurethane? Abbreviated as PUR or PU, polyurethane is a polymer containing the urethane group (–NH–CO–O–) which is formed in the reaction between polyisocyanates and polyols. CUITU CVI

Cuitu is a revolutionary product in the pet food industry. This sugar beet waste-based fibre product is added to animal feed. Why? Because it improves the qualities of the feed by changing its structure so that the manufacturers can add vitamins, fats and other useful ingredients to it, and also by making the end product more easily digestable, so that your dog, cat or fish does not suffer from constipation. So demand a little Cuitu in your pet food! Everybody wins. We prepared a CVI for this incredible product. Check out the slides.

Cuitu is actully a brownish powder. We made a quick pack for it for a Nuremberg expo. The intention was to showcase the natural origins of the product and use eco-packaging materials. The branding was printed directly onto the package.

NÖVA CVI

There is a magical farm hidden in the forests of Pärnu County – NÖVA. The sturgeon they farm here are among the most beautiful and most curious fish in the world. NÖVA is Estonia’s first black caviar brand. The farm is owned by an Estonian-Japanese couple, so the brand was insired by both pure Nordic nature and Japanese traditions. Kiop.agency had the wonderful opportunity to create a name, logo, package and gift package design and other marketing materials for NÖVA. The work is still in progress, so further visuals will be materialising in due course. In subsequent posts you will see the brand video, key visual photos and ads, photos of real-life caviar tins and more. Exciting things are coming soon, so stay tuned! TRANSPORTATION AGENCY PRESENTATION

Kiop.agency was tasked with creating a 20-slide presentation for the shipping company’s owners in order to pursuade them to register their company and fleet under the Estonian flag. To do this, we worked through legislation, filtered out the reasons why this would be useful for the company and concentrated this knowledge in presentation format. The first draft ran to 45 slides, the second to 30; with the third version we finally reached our goal of 20 slides. It is always a challenge to have each and every slide loaded with the maximum amount of meaning, not just content. The presentation has a video at the beginning and again at the end. The style was based on the Brand Estonia manual.

KIRANTO FOODS NEW WEBSITE – THE INTRO

Presenting KirantoFoods’ new take on the web! KirantoFoods is a Bang & Bonsomer Group company, which is why we implemented the same web design concept here as we did on the group’s corporate website. Did you know that natural colorings for the food industry come from carrots, beetroots and other root vegetables? KirantoFoods works with food additives and specializes in creating functional flavor. Just think where we would be if the food we consumed lacked taste, color, substance or texture… The global trends are to replace all synthetic additives with natural ones, to downsize on packaging and to make existing packaging ecologically friendly – up to the point that one fine day we will be able to eat the food inside the packaging as well as the packaging itself. Just think how cool that would be!

In terms of clients, the bank’s main target group is specialists, and Holm is proud to serve them with a warm, friendly, can-do attitude. EUROGUM NEW WEBSITE – THE INTRO

Open your fridge. What do you see? I bet you’ll find at least 10 products in there that have a) alginate or b) carrageenan in them. For real. For example, vanilla pudding contains carrageenan. It makes the pudding thicker and therefore yummier to eat. Ice cream, meanwhile, contains alginate, which makes the ice cream creamier. Basically, what we’re dealing with is a SEAWEED product. So, all natural. Alginate and carrageenan are added to lots of different food products, from milk-based desserts withal the way through to ham, chicken and other meat. We had the honor of digging deep into the anatomy of the product and the manufacturing process, as we’re putting together a new website for a company named Eurogum. Eurogum is also a Bang & Bonsomer group company, which is why the principles of the web design are the same as for the group. Enjoy the pics! I’ll keep you posted as to when the site goes live.

BANG & BONSOMER WEBSITE – THE INTRO

There has been a lot of talk about the effects of coronavirus on marketing and advertising. One thing is certain: the effect IS THERE. Kiop.agency´s experience is that the pandemic has affected marketing and advertising by placing more and more stress on strategic work. As a result, we think and re-think things 15 times over and only then do we execute a project. Also, we have seen that clients want to invest in branding and design, creating new brands, products and services, and re-branding existing brands. A lot of work is put into digital strategies and the design process. We’re really happy that B2B sectors have also come to understand that a company’s digital presence is important. The customer’s user experience is important, even if they don´t actually buy anything from the site. Since there haven´t been any expos since the start of the COVID era, B2B companies have been investigating ways of engaging new contacts via digital means, starting from the webpage, moving on to LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter and from there to online advertising, snapping up keywords and using smart advertising in different countries. The website designs in this post were created for Bang & Bonsomer, a Finnish material technology company operating in Europe and Russia. The project is still being worked on, since a lot of decision-makers involved. We hope to see the website materialize in code form early next year.

HOME3 CAMPAIGN

The Home3 spring campaign TV clip is a direct example of how the pandemic has influenced advertising and marketing: we made the clip during a period when Estonia had nearly 2000 positive cases a day. For a nation with a population of just 1.3 million, that number was a very serious problem. The restrictions enforced by the government were rigorous. The brief from the client was that there was a minimal budget and no time for the creative work, BUT they still wanted to come up with an effective spring campaign that included a TV clip! So, based on all of these conditions, we decided to move the production of the clip to the Google Meets video-meetings environment and record it through Vimeo Pro. The overall idea of the TV clip was therefore based on a video meeting between Home3 marketing and Liis Lusmägi, who is the spokesperson for the Home3 brand. There was actually NO traditional TV clip production involved: everything was done ONLINE – a true sign of the coronavirus times. We kept to the very minimal budget required by the client and got everything done on schedule, as a result of which the spring campaign ad made it to air in record time and produced a record number of new clients for Home3 in a single month. So tick-tick-tick! Or as John Hannibal used to say, “I love it when a plan comes together!”

NARVA COLLEGE CAMPAIGNS

In March 2021 and as a follow-up that April, we produced a campaign for the Russian-speaking market for Narva College of the University of Tartu. A fascinating insight from the campaign was that LinkedIn as a channel worked surprisingly well in Russia, considering that it is officially banned there and that in order to use it you have to hide your IP address with a VPN. We invited 25+ people with a Bachelor’s degree to come and obtain their Master’s degree in Narva. Surprise, surprise – people are doing just that! Narva College now has a full class of eager, paying students ready to broaden their knowledge. We created a colleague video, online campaign materials and a media solution. Later on a campaign for the German market followed.

JUSTICE COLLEGE CAMPAIGN

A 6:30 wake-up call, a drive to Tallinn Prison, a security process that lasted over an hour, approximately 250 different film and photo-related technical items validated, a shooting range, men in uniform, 15 kg of bullet-proof protection shield, bullets flying everywhere, killer leg kicks, the smartest dog in the world, Con Air, plenty of tension and ready, set, GO! That will give you an idea of our filming day at Tallinn Prison. The team got home late that evening. There was excitement, there was tension, there was satisfaction from what we achieved. The result was a tik-tok generation video clip with super-fast editing and super effects. The campaign homepage can be found online at https://astusisse.justiits.ee/.
